Welcome Home

I am so glad Carl and Gordon made it home from Germany safely last night.  He and Gordon had tons of fun but Carl at least is happy to be home.  The time went by faster than I thought it would, and I was surprised that I could handle things better than I thought.  But we missed him a lot.  Garrett asked every day how many days were left until Daddy came home.  We were super happy to see him!

Bye Daddy

Carl is off to Europe without me.  He and his brother Gordon are going to Germany to see their mom and dad for 10 days.  I'm sad he is going without Garrett and me, but it was a really good opportunity for him to go, so he took it.  We are going to miss him so much, and I have to admit, I'm a bit scared about being a single mom.  Carl does a lot for our family, so it's going to be tough without him.  We love you Daddy!

Easter Eggs

Dyeing Easter eggs is one of my favorite holiday traditions.  I love the brightly colored eggs, and the smell of vinegar.  It brings me right back to my childhood Easters.  I think this is going to be one of Garrett's favorites too - he just loves it.

Easter Program

I love going to Garrett's little programs at his preschool.  He doesn't like being in front of people, and doesn't always participate, but it's still fun to see him and hear all the little songs and things they are learning.  Today's Easter program was adorable  Garrett didn't sing much, and looked pretty bored at times, but I know he still had fun.

Gare and Gabby

Garrett took the opportunity to snuggle up to Gabby while she was chilling on his bed.  I don't think Gabby was too happy about it, but they still look pretty cute.

And there goes the other one.  His second tooth fell out today.  How adorable is that smile?!
