Ducks and Harlo

We went to feed the ducks yesterday with our friends Sarah and Harlo. We haven't seen Sarah and Harlo for a while and Harlo was a little shy with us. She is 2 and so cute. Garrett loves her. The ducks were so adorable. There were tons of little ducklings - Carl counted at least 40. Garrett and Harlo were really cute feeding the ducks.

I wondered why you hadn't been posting, but you have. Something must have glitched. We didn't have as many baby ducks, but the ones we saw were really cute. Nice pictures of you all!

About Us

We met when we were 12 years old. We were friends throughout junior high and high school but didn’t start dating until after we graduated from high school. We loved dating and enjoyed going to movies, operas, the symphony, and going ice-skating. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple and have loved every day of being married. After years of trying to conceive, our hearts were led to adoption. An amazing birth mom chose us to be the parents of her baby, and the day she placed her beautiful baby boy in our arms was the happiest day of our lives. Our son Garrett is now 6 years old, and he is such a joy. We are eternally grateful for the blessings of adoption in our lives. We can't wait to add another child to our family through the miracle of adoption.

Our interests and hobbies

Carl
I enjoy all kinds of sports. I love playing basketball, football, and golf, and I love watching all sports on TV. I love music and I play the piano and clarinet. My real musical passion is singing. I've always loved singing and I sang in choir throughout high school and in ward choirs and community choirs. Music is a very important part of my life. I collect Legos, especially Star Wars Legos, and I love building and playing with them with my son. I also enjoy riding motorcycles, and playing video games.

Shauna
I love singing and enjoy anything that has to do with music. I love baking and especially enjoy making sugar cookies for holidays - particularly for Halloween, my favorite. I also enjoy games, shopping, and crafts. I love animals and wish I had the resources to help all the animals in the world. My favorite thing to do is to play with my son and spend time with my husband and family.

Garrett
Garrett is such a special little boy. He is very active and energetic, and loves running around whenever he can. He loves playing outside and going for walks. He is fascinated by sharks and sea creatures. He also loves learning about animals, dinosaurs, and bugs. He adores books, cars and trucks, trains, and action figures. His favorite thing to do is play with his Star Wars, Batman, and Indiana Jones Legos.
